New ultra-compact 4:1 DC/DC converters by VITEC!!In the course of further miniaturization VITEC presents a new series of ultra-compact DC/DC converters.
The new VMV Series with an ultra-wide input range are available with 2W as well as with 3W. Absolutely new: For the first time they are stored in an ultra-compact SIL9 package (26x9.3x12.5 mm). The efficiency of up to 85 % provides an operating temperature of up to 85°C. Two available input voltage ranges (9-36 Vdc as well as 18-75 Vdc) enable adjusted single output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12 and 15 Vdc, or dual output voltages of ±5, ±12 and ± 15 Vdc. A remote ON/OFF mode is integrated standard.
DC/DC converters in DIL24 package now available up to 12W!!
Also new are the add-ons on the VMU Converter Series (2:1 input range) and the VMW Series (4:1 input range).
Until short both series were available only with 2W, 4W and 6W. Latest technology and high efficiency enable now capacities up to 12W. So far such converters were available only in a 2"x1" package. The VMU Series are offered now with 8W, 10W and 12W. Continuous short circuit protection, low ripple and noise and efficiency up to 90 % are the outstanding features.The new VITEC converters convince mainly by and excellect cost/performance ratio.
VITEC offers a wide range of small and medium capacity converters for PCB, meeting today's requirements of electronic applications. The range of products cover converters from 1W to 40W with galvanic insulation from 1kV to 6kV with single, dual or triple output.
